Watch the official video for Carnival, the new single produced by Mista Savona featuring Cuban singer Solis and Jamaica/UK singer Randy Valentine. Carnival is the first single off of the forthcoming album Havana Meets Kingston, set to be released in September 2017. For this album, recorded in the Egrem Studios in Havana, Mista Savona brought together established and emerging Cuban and Jamaican musicians with original songs, as well as covers of classic Cuban material.
The Glorious and Brilliant band that plays on the album (Get ready, you’re going to see BIG names…) is composed of: Sly & Robbie (drums & bass), Changuito of Los Van Van (timbale), Rolando Luna of Buena Vista Social Club (piano), Yaroldy Abreu of Chucho Valdés (Congas), Bopee Bowen of Inna De Yard (guitar), Bongo Herman of Studio One fame (tambourine), Oliver Valdés of Omara Portuondo & Havana Cultura (clave & bongos), Julito Padron of Havana Cultura (trumpet) and Jake Savona (piano & hammond organ).

Carnival is the first single off of Havana Meets Kingston. The video was filmed and directed by Rick Mereki in Cuba and Jamaica.
