THEOPHILUS LONDON

Wednesday 31st August – Oxford Art Factory - Sydney
Thursday 1st September – Northcote Social Club - Melbourne

Trinidad born, Brooklyn raised MC Theophilus London is heading down under to support Big Boi and now Niche Productions is pleased to announce his debut Australian Headline Shows!

His debut album ‘Timez Are Weird These Days’ has just been released following the well-received ‘Lovers Holiday’ EP and several buzzworthy mixtapes. London explains, his 11 track debut “captures a moment in time. It’s a reflection of what’s going on in pop culture right now.” London doesn't see musical boundaries, and inTimez …, he's created an equally wide-open album with genre bending sound and a magnetic brand of storytelling. Recorded over the last year in Stockholm, NYC and Los Angeles, London worked with a number of different producers to achieve his sound including Ariel Rechstshaid (Foreign Born, MURS, Glasser), Jokke of The Teddybears, Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio and John Hill (Santigold).

An up to the minute snapshot of electro, rock, pop and Hip-Hop, the Theophilus London show is not to be missed. Joining him in Sydney and Melbourne is Polo Club, who will be performing off the back of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘The 13’ as well as some brand new material.
