NeaCombo DiffuZion Bio

Julien Pouillet (drummer) and Ronny Pelage (bass) decided to become partners in opening a recording studio, NEACOMBO DIFFUZION. They wanted to offer their services to all the musicians and singers who needed them. This is how three other musicians joined forces with them to form a band. Dominique Colas at the guitar, Igor Laufilitoga and Ludovic Hamu on the keyboards. They very quickly presented the television show called "9 semaines et 1 jour" which presents all the New Caledonian artists overseas.

After this they finally wanted to play their own compositions. In 2006 Daddy Max One and Gab'Stone want to try their luck. Their different styles and sounds complemented each other; they could play and sing Creole, French and English. Daddy Max One's voice, with its strength and power typical to Dance Hall, and Gab’Stone, with more soul and sensuality, have attracted many listeners.

The singers write their lyrics and the musician their partitions.

This is how a collective soul was born on the New Caledonia scene.

Their first album "UNITY" came out in June 2006, and of course produced by their own recording studio. Little by little they added to their stable other artists which allowed them to diversify and improve their style by enriching it. More than one artist has integrated their group. Singers like Tylass who stayed with them a whole year, a second guitar player (Maxim Dassonneville), Ludovic Hamu had left. To cut it short a whole lot of musicians gravitated around them and the group has adapted to them.

Today this group is quite versatile, it can one day boasts 5 musicians and 2 singers, or 8 musicians counting a DJ and a percussionist, 6 singers and 10 dancers depending of performances.

Of 2007 at 2009, the group had the opportunity to share the stage with Carl Cox, TéTé, Groundation, Soja and the Sunshiners from Vanuatu during the Wela Papa Kiki Festival held in Noumea.

Their very first international experience was in September 2009 for an Australian tour (Reggae Town). They were only 5 musicians and 2 singers but they managed to inflame the Australian public. After the Haiti earthquake in 2010 the group wrote a song called "Ensemble pour Haiti" (Together for Haiti) and gave all the money they collected from the CD to the Red Cross.

In May 2010 the second Opus ROUND 1 SPARING was produced by NeaCombo DiffuZion, it features also the Australian artist Sunny Dread and Tylass.

June 2010 realization of the clip INTOXIKErealized by VIZUALISE. From June to November 2010, the group chained concerts and promotional tours in New Caledonia and in Australia and he shared the stage with The Cat Empire, John Butler, Fefe and Uroy. March 31, 2011, they released their third album: DIGITAL ATTACK produced by NeaComboDiffuZion studio, in collaboration with international beatmakers (USA, France, NC).
