Kingfisha are a 5 piece reggae/dub band from Brisbane. They have taken the Jamaican rhythms and infused them with honest songwriting and strong melodies to create their own sound… Honest, Australian Reggae. They began as a studio project with Anthony Forrest, Andrew Stephens and Shannon Green, following the disbandment of dub/electro act ‘Promiscuous’.

Having completed several east-coast tours and performing at some of the country’s finest festivals, in only a short time Kingfisha have emerged as one of the strong up-and-comers of the Australian roots music scene.
